Why is your email landing in spam?

What the check covers

Eight checks, the same ones Gmail and Outlook run.

Type a domain and we read its live DNS the way a receiving mail server does. No login, nothing installed, nothing stored unless you ask for the report.

MX
Does the domain accept mail, and does it point at the provider you think it does?
SPF
Is the record valid, under the ten-lookup limit, and does it list every service that sends for you?
DKIM
Are the Google, Microsoft and common ESP selectors published, and how strong is the key?
DMARC
Is there a policy, is it enforced (quarantine or reject), and do the reports go somewhere?
MTA-STS and TLS-RPT
Is transport encryption enforced and reported, the way Google's sender guidelines expect?
BIMI
Is the domain ready to show its logo in the inbox, and what is still missing?
Blocklists
Is the domain or its mail host listed anywhere that would get it filtered?
Score and next steps
A 0 to 100 score, a risk level, and the exact records to change, in priority order.

How to read your result

Green means the receiving side will trust that layer. Amber means it works but is weaker than it should be. Red means mail is being filtered or spoofable today.

DKIM not detected is not a failure on its own: custom selectors cannot be listed from DNS. Paste a sent message into the header analyzer to confirm signing.

Frequently asked questions

Is the email deliverability check free?

Yes. The troubleshooter is completely free and needs no signup. Paste your domain and you get SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and MX results in about 30 seconds.

Why are my emails going to spam?

The most common causes are missing or misconfigured SPF, DKIM, or DMARC records, sending from a server that isn't authorized for your domain. The troubleshooter checks your SPF, DKIM, and DMARC setup so you can fix what's in your control.

How do I check if SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are set up correctly?

Enter your domain into the tool. It validates each authentication record against your live DNS and flags anything missing, misaligned, or left in monitor-only mode.

What does the deliverability check test?

It checks your domain's MX records, SPF (including the 10-lookup limit), DKIM signing on common selectors, your DMARC policy and alignment, plus MTA-STS, TLS-RPT, and BIMI readiness — the configuration that decides whether you reach the inbox.
